Music has always been an integral part of my life. When I was in kindergarten I started playing the violin and from there moved on the flute and piano. It was not until I was seven years old that I met my first true love; singing. By some twist of fate, at that young age, I discovered a passion like no other and it has changed my life. But it was not until I was twelve years old that I started writing poetry. It was then that I realized the true impact of music on my life. When I was fourteen I began studying classical voice. I sang in chorus all through school and performed at local talent shows whenever given the opportunity. After high school I went directly to college, but after about a year and a half of school I decided I had to pursue my music or my soul would be empty forever. That was when all of the stars were aligned perfectly and I met Greg. As friends and as musicians we connected and have not turned back since. The gift that I have been given of being able to express myself through music is a culmination of exposure to various artists from Tori Amos to Mariah Carey to the Deftones. Through my singing I hope to make someone else feel the things that music has given me.
